Day01

Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri – Phuentsholing (155km/ 4 hrs.)

On arrival, our representative will meet and assist you at Bagdogra and transfer you to Phuentsholing. The India-Bhutan border is shared by Jaigaon on the Indian side and Phuentsholing on the Bhutanese side. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing. Travel note: A local representative will coordinate the arrival pickup and hotel transfer. Standard check-in time applies, so early arrivals may have a short wait; the rest of the day is intentionally kept light.

Day02

Phuentsholing – Thimphu (165km/ 5 hrs.)

After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, via Gedu, located at an altitude of about 9,000 ft, with a view of the Chukha Dam. En route, stop for a photo session at Wangkha Waterfall. Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in to the hotel. The evening is free to explore the local market. Overnight stay in Thimphu. Travel note: A local representative will coordinate the arrival pickup and hotel transfer. Standard check-in time applies, so early arrivals may have a short wait; the rest of the day is intentionally kept light.

Thimphu Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the National Library, Institute for Zorig Chusum (Painting School), Simply Bhutan, Handicrafts Emporium, and the majestic Buddha Dordenma Statue overlooking Thimphu Valley. Explore Bhutan's rich culture, traditional arts, and local handicrafts. Overnight stay in Thimphu. Travel note: Expect a moderately paced day with periods of walking and standing. The local guide may reorder visits around opening hours, traffic and crowd levels while retaining the listed sightseeing.

Day04

Thimphu – Punakha Excursion – Thimphu (75km/ 2 hrs 30 min)

After breakfast, drive to Dochula Pass (3,088 m) to enjoy stunning Himalayan views. Continue to visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong and walk across the scenic Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest suspension bridges in Bhutan. Return to Thimphu by evening. Overnight stay in Thimphu. Travel note: This is a weather-sensitive mountain day. Carry original photo ID, a warm layer, water and any prescribed medication; permits, road access and the order of stops may change at short notice.

Thimphu – Chele La Pass Excursion – Paro (50km/ 1 hr 30 min)

After breakfast, drive to Chele La Pass (3,988 m), one of Bhutan's highest motorable passes, offering spectacular Himalayan views. Later, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest and most sacred temples, followed by Ta Dzong (National Museum), showcasing Bhutan's rich history, art, and culture. Proceed to Paro. Overnight stay in Paro. Travel note: This is a weather-sensitive mountain day. Carry original photo ID, a warm layer, water and any prescribed medication; permits, road access and the order of stops may change at short notice.

Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest)

After breakfast, begin the hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), Bhutan's most famous and sacred monastery, perched 900 metres above the Paro Valley. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche flew to this site on the back of a tigress in the 8th century and meditated in a cave, giving the monastery its name. The monastery, built in 1692 and beautifully restored after a fire in 1998, remains one of Bhutan's most revered pilgrimage sites. Overnight stay in Paro. Travel note: Dress modestly and keep footwear easy to remove. Entry queues, prayer timings and local restrictions can affect the sequence of visits, while special darshan or rituals are included only when specifically listed.

Paro – Lataguri (255km/ 6 hrs 30 min)

After breakfast, drive to Lataguri. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Lataguri. Standard check-in time applies, so early arrivals may have a short wait; the rest of the day is intentionally kept light.

Lataguri – Bagdogra Airport

Early morning, enjoy a Jeep Safari at Gorumara National Park. After breakfast, proceed to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Tour ends with sweet memories. Travel note: Your final pickup time will be matched to the confirmed flight or train schedule. Keep photo ID, tickets and essential medicines in your hand luggage, and allow for the standard hotel check-out time.

Indian Nationals must carry a valid Passport (minimum 6 months validity) or Original Voter ID Card for entry into Bhutan. Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, and Driving License are NOT valid for immigration. The Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of ₹1,200 per person per night is included.

The hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest) is moderate to strenuous (approx. 5–6 hours round trip). Guests with medical conditions are advised to consult their doctor beforehand. Carry comfortable walking shoes, warm clothing, rainwear, sunscreen, and water.

Payment Terms: • 30% booking amount required at confirmation. • Full balance payment must be completed 15 days prior to departure date. Cancellation Policy: • 61 Days or more: 15% of Total tour cost • 46–60 Days: 25% of Total tour cost • 31–45 Days: 50% of Total tour cost • 16–30 Days: 75% of Total tour cost • 15 Days or less / No-show: 100% of Total tour cost
